Observe and interact
I will be keeping a check on my moods, energy levels and general state of mind throughout this project. Some of the barriers to my success will be very much internal, and I fully recognise the value in maintaining my emotional and spiritual well being. For any signs of difficulty or imbalance, I will make it a priority to put energy into working through this and find support for where it is needed.
Catch and store energy
Energy comes in so many forms. For this internal aspect I am thinking of energy in terms of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical energy. Energy gained in one area can be transfered to another area where it is more needed. Likewise energy lacking in one area can cause a seeping of energy from somewhere else. I will be working on ways to ensure that my energies remain balanced and at a level that keeps me feeling able to tackle anything that comes my way with enthusiasm and creativity. I will do this by maintaining a priority on several things;
Produce no waste
Waste here could be in a variety of forms. By maintaining positive, healthy interactions and connections I should be able to keep a steady flow of energy, not feeling overly drained or emotionally exhausted. By planning my time wisely, taking space for all that I need and recognising the times when I am being most productive, I can work most effectively and not feel like I am 'wasting' any of my time.
Small and slow solutions
I have come to recognise and value patience, especially when it comes to internal processes. It can take time to shift blockages, find freedom from old habits and patterns, and develop new healthy behaviours. This is where small and slow solutions come in. I may feel a slight positive affect from one walk in the forest, or one open hearted interaction, but if practised daily the change could be magnificent. I am also seeing the value in each small step, as however small they are all a leap in the right direction.
Use edges and value the marginal
Looking into my personal edges - what are the boundaries that I find within me? And where can these edges be pushed and broken? Often the things we find the most challenging are the most worthwhile to work towards. By remaining conscious of my patterns, I can look to potential opportunities for growth and personal expansion.
Creatively use and respond to change
Remaining aware of how am I feeling and uncovering why.. Are my feelings changing throughout the work? Are there roots to these feelings that need to be uncovered? What can I do to creatively transform any negative or challenging feelings?

- spiritual practice, - this occurs in many forms,in my life, be it yoga, meditation, singing, free dancing,, gardening.. and any activity done which practices conscious awareness
- a healthy diet - for me this means a diet high in raw organic foods,, with whole grains, low sugar and caffeine, and medicinal teas and supplements. ,
- positive interactions - by communicating openly and effectively with others around me I remain energised and inspired.
- Integrating processes such as The Artists Way into my daily life - Things to inspire my creativity and fire my imagination. I have found this to be very energising, and is transferred into practical physical manifestations.
