3 P's review

Personal Review
This has been a very useful project for me, one that has had a very real impact and improvement on my life. It is nice for a project to have such a direct effect; we needed a composting toilet immediately, and were able to start using this system very quickly. I also feel pleased to have had an opportunity to complete a short and efficient project, after the past few have taken months to complete.

Professional review
The research involved within this project has enabled me to develop my understanding in composting methods, and now I feel confident that I could replicate this system and use this knowledge for the benefit of sharing with others.

Project review
I am quite pleased with the way this project has gone. I found myself wanting to expand on many areas, writing more about the background science of composting and ethics and so on, but in order to remain concise I have chosen to look for external links to refer the readers to instead. This has meant that I have managed to write up the project in a very reasonable amount of time, which is something I have struggled with in the past. This has been a good learning curve for me, finding that balance between what is necessary to do, how much time I have to invest into each project, and how much I really want and need to say.

Time review
Project start and end date: April-August 2013
Making observations, deciding on a design- two weeks
Construction- Little by little, over three months now and still not finished. But we have been using the basic structure since the first day of construction
Writing up on website- 7 days
